Dear KMJF Community:
Over the past five years KMJF, with your support, has been able to highlight hundreds of Toronto and Canadian based musicians. However, in these pandemic times, we are all forced to experience a different capacity of life.
This year we are pleased to present a two-day festival featuring a reduced number of online shows. Producing this limited schedule was very difficult for the KMJF team and though we’ve had to make some tough choices, we are certain that as with the previous four festivals, we will deliver a great program this year.
Team KMJF would like to thank Slaight Music, City of Toronto, Ontario Arts Council, Long & McQuade, Yamaha Canada Music Ltd., and the Kensington Market BIA for their on-going support. We also want to thank everyone in the KMJF COMMUNITY who has played a role in the growth of this festival.
Please follow us on social media @kensingtonjazz on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube and if you haven’t already, please sign up for the newsletter where you will be the first to hear about lineup announcements and special surprise guests. It is more important now than ever before to support arts and culture in Canada. Every single arts discipline is struggling in their own way and we ask our KMJF friends and family to support the arts in any way that you are able.
We are looking forward to sharing this great festival with you on November 7th and 8th. Please continue to stay safe.
Molly & Team KMJF
